The Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act has entered into force. We have a suitable tool for you:

Academic Whistleblower System

Already in 2019, the EU Whistleblower Directive came into force. It requires legal entities in the public sector and companies with at least 250 employees to set up a reporting system to receive reports from whistleblowers by 17 December 2021 at the latest. The Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG), which entered into force on 25.02.2023, requires the establishment of a reporting system no later than 25.08.2023. For companies with between 50 and 249 employees, this obligation is set to take effect on 17.12.2023.

ACOmarket offers its customers a cost-effective, quickly available all-in-one solution for the implementation of the Directive and the Austrian Whistleblower Protection Act: The certified whistleblower system by Vispato (Düsseldorf), hosted by DATEV (Nuremberg).

Our Whitelabel SaaS solution allows every customer of ACOmarket to operate a whistleblower portal separate from their own infrastructure

• under their own web address (subdomain of academic-whistleblower.at) and
• with their own logo and corporate design.

This way, the anonymity of the whistleblowers can be preserved and reports cannot be covered up.

The information is received via highly secure end-to-end encryption so that it can only be read by the whistleblower and the client.

Each Academic Whistleblower System portal is designed according to the individual requirements of the client, whereby
- each portal can be published in 21 languages,
- the number, names and input fields of the whistleblowing topics and all other texts can be freely specified,
- for each topic, the customer can choose who receives the incoming messages,
- additional internal or external persons can be consulted for each report received, and
- numerous settings, e.g. the adaptation to the client's corporate design, can be carried out by the client's employees themselves.

Together with the Academic Whistleblower System, for hourly rates, advice can be provided by a law firm.
- by a law firm (e.g. in the case of legal issues arising from reports) and
- by a specialised management consultant (e.g. for the implementation of organisational processes).

The Academic Whistleblower System uses end-to-end encryption so that only the whistleblower and the relevant contact person of the organisation can decrypt and read the reports and the associated notes and communication.

End-to-end encryption means the encryption of transmitted communication across all stations of transmission. Only the communication partners, the respective end points of the communication, can decrypt the transmitted data.

This ensures that no one else has access to this information. Even ACOmarket and the customer's employees, who are only responsible for the administration of the portal, do not have any keys.

In addition, security and compliance programmes of the manufacturer and the data centre operator protect the data and ensure the trouble-free operability of the system.

Pricing:
• Implementation by ACOmarket
... a one-time fee of 450 € plus VAT
• Ongoing system operation incl. administration by ACOmarket

Our test portal https://acomarket.academic-whistleblower.at gives an impression of the user-friendly functionality and clear user guidance of the system from the whistleblower's perspective.

We shall be pleased to present the intuitive user interfaces for processing the reports and for the various settings that customers can make on their own in an online meeting!
