Contract management
Together with external experts, we draw up contracts and other legal documents (e.g. framework agreements, data protection, public procurement law) that can be used by ACOmarket, and also by all customers.

Review of software and cloud contracts
Contracts do not need to be reviewed separately by each university. ACOmarket can act as an intermediary for contracts that have already been reviewed.
ACOmarket can also conduct reviews itself on behalf of a university on behalf of a university, possibly with the involvement of experts (budget required).
With its DPA service, ACOmarket supports ACOnet participants in connection with data protection documents, e.g. for data processing agreements.

Cyber Security
An Academic Security Operations Centre (ASOC) for Austrian universities, inspired by the 'Community SOC' of the Swiss foundation https://www.switch.ch, is currently in preparation.
The central coordination for cyber security is being set up within ACOmarket.
By offering centralised services for proactive measures, attack detection and countermeasures, the ASOC will use synergies to increase the cyber security of universities. As end users, universities and their central information service units will have the opportunity to benefit from tried-and-tested services, experience and resources in the area of cyber security, instead of having to develop solutions themselves at great expense.
Initially, the universities' best practices in the IT security environment will be surveyed and a common baseline and roadmaps will be created for each university. The initiative is funded by the Austrian government as part of the KIRAS project 'Towards an Academic Security Operations Centre'.
